Laura is in Brazil and uses Bookmooch quite a bit if I'm not mistaken.

I just had a quick look at it today and it does seems like the American site paperbackswap is more user friendly as well as a much nicer layout. It also seem to have more options than Bookmooch (when it comes to HF at least.) But please have a look, it might be brilliant!

Interest in HF: The first historical novel I read was Katherine by Anya Seton and this sparked off my interest in this genre.
Favourite HF book: Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell!

I joined Bookmooch a couple of weeks ago. It seems a good site. I also belong to BookHopper, another book swapping site, but that one is the UK only.

I love PBS and have been a member for about three years. I've traded a few hundred books and have really only had one problem with a book arriving damaged. And nearly everything I post gets snapped up immediately. I've received a few hardcovers, too.
