Queen Tiye

Postby Helen_Davis » Sun May 10th, 2015, 5:49 pm

Queen Tiye, the mother in law of Nefertiti. Also looking for Egyptian queens in particular (though not Cleopatra, with Cleopatra Unconquered coming out shortly, I am curious about other queens.)

The only one can think of is an old Pauline Gedge book, but I don't remember the name.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Thanks to you both! I'll have to check it out, I loved her book about Hatshepsut. Given the interest CLEOPATRA UNCONQUERED seems to be generating, I am thinking my calling may be ancient Egypt, and Tiye is definitely under consideration, along with Nefertari and some of the earlier Ptolemy queens
