That reminds me of another novel I believe has not been mentioned.

I forget the author's name but it was titled either Moses, Prince of Egypt or simply Prince of Egypt. When the Heston 10 Commandments was released, I believed then that the screenplay was taken more from that book than from Scripture.
Howard Fast wrote a novel called Moses, Prince of Egypt, 1958.

so I was looking at Jean Plaidy's books at amazon thinking of what to I wanted to order this weekend, she has two books on the Tudor Princess' The Thistle and the Rose then Mary, queen of France. Does anyone know if they are the same book since there have been alot of re-releases on most of her stuff I'm getting confused and picking the same books with different titles and covers.

They're different books. One is about Henry VIII's sister Margaret (Thistle) and the other about his sister Mary (Queen of France).

I have it out from the library to read soon. Most people I know who have read it have liked it. I thought it was HF, but it really isn't.

Here is the book I read and remember as the real book used by DeMille, and Amazon shows it originally as a thirty-five cent paperback.
