When I was in London, everyone thought I was weird for spending about half my time in that little alley that has all the amazing bookstores (I forget the name). I actually threw away clothes to make room for old books on the trip home. Unfortunately, I was poor (I was in college) so I didn't get anything amazing, but a lot of old editions of Oscar Wilde, etc.
Whoever wishes to foresee the future must consult the past; for human events ever resemble those of preceding times. This arises from the fact that they are produced by men who ever have been, and ever shall be, animated by the same passions, and thus they necessarily have the same results.
