Maybe the blue and white one she wears when she's "caught" with Ashley at the lumber mill? Or the black one she wears at the end. Or maybe it's the dress she wears at her first wedding.

It's a black and white dress with coral jewelry that, according to the box, Scarlett wore on a honeymoon shopping spree in New Orleans. (I had to refer to the box because, although I've read the book several times and have some movie memorabilia, I've never actually seen the movie of GWTW). It's not as "pretty" as the other Scarlett dolls, which is maybe why it wasn't included in the picture. They also made a Ken as Rhett Butler doll, which I never bought.

My Scarlett O'Hara dolls are the only ones I've never taken out of the boxes. So, since I don't have a good way to display them in the box, they are kept in a closet. :( But I just don't want to take them out of the boxes -- I think because the boxes are so pretty, have snapshots from the movie, and add so much to the dolls.

One neat detail they added to these dolls - although they are Barbie face molds, not meant to look like Vivien Leigh, they did paint one eyebrow arched higher than the other, the way Vivien's were. (collectors love little details like that :) ).

I wanted to collect them when I was younger, but I was too poor and no one would buy them for me.

When I finally got some money I bought the I dream of Jeanie barbie. Loved it, but after a while it went into the closet and finally I sold it.

Susan - that's quite a collection! And they're all in such good condition. Mine from childhood didn't survive intact. I'm not sure why, since I played more with my Matchbox cars.

My mother used to give my daughter Barbie dolls, but she wasn't really interested in them either. So I still have half a dozen in their original boxes - Swan Lake Barbie, Coca Cola Barbie... But they're only ten years old. Never played with.

Michy...

Oh yes, I remember that dress now. You're right; not as pretty as the others.
I have the King Arthur and Guinevere set, also. Those were the only two pairs I bought in that series, I didn't care for the ones they came out with after that.

So, BB, you've mentioned Coca-Cola a time or two. Do you by any chance collect Coca-Cola memorabilia? (may need to start a new thread for this) :D
Yes, indeed! Will start a thread.

I liked Matchbox cars, too! And Hot Wheels.

I liked Hot Wheels too! I only had one or two, though, plus some cheap spin-offs.

Is anyone else collecting any of the Tonner dolls? They are quite lovely. I have only 2, since they are very pricey, but wish I had the room and space to collect more.

I also have a nice collections of Disney dolls - mainly Sleeping Beauty, but a few Snow Whites and Cinderellas.

I think the Little Kitty Tonner dolls are beautiful. I have a Basic Kitty, but I stopped at her--it could have gotten rather pricey if I hadn't!
