Read The Lost Summer of Louiss May Alcott by Kelly O'Connor McNees. It was a light, easy read and you can see where the inspiration of Little Women came from. The author makes clear that most of what is portrayed in the book is a "what could have happened" perspective and not based in fact, which is nice. I would recommend it for anyone who loved the Little Women story.
