I loved Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, Michy. I thought was a fabulous book. Quite quirky really.

I enjoyed it -- it was fun and, yes, quirky is a good description. The only weakness I found with the book were some of the scenes near the end -- I thought they were silly, actually. They made the characters seem not just quirky, but cartoonish.
