What did you think of the books on medieval England and London? They sound interesting to me, I'm wondering if they're worth the trouble of trying to obtain copies.

The Time Traveller's Guide was really good. The book on the plague was also good but maybe a bit much for people not that interested in the subject, sometimes I felt my mind wandering.

Oh, if you don't mind reading a really outsized book, like coffee table size, then it's really good. But since I don't live in London, I sometimes found it hard to figure out where the places are that are shown on various images of London from above.

I was also thrilled that it had a picture of Lady Jane Grey's execution that I hadn't seen before, and so now it's in my permanent collection!
