I've finished "Priceless: How I Went Undercover To Rescue the World's Stolen Treasure" by Robert K. Wittman w/ John Shiffman (325pgs, 2010). An interesting look at the undercover work of an now retired FBI agent and his mission to recover stolen pieces of artwork and archeological treasures. Sadly his biggest case, trying to recover the works of art stolen from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston in 1990, was messed up by bureaucracy and jealousies between law enforcement agencies.

Siobhán Dowd's Bog Child, a moving YA novel about a young boy living in Ireland during the Irish Troubles of the 1980s and a young girl from centuries past whose body he finds buried in a peat bog.

I've just started "Before Versailles" by Kathleen Koen but also preparing to read "Jarrettsville" by Cynthia Nixon and "The American Heiress" by Daisy Goodwin. Trying to catch up on my reading while waiting for the writing bug to return!
I blog about all things writing and historical at Caroline Wilson Writes!

I'm also on Facebook, Twitter, and Goodreads!

Now Available: "Rebel Heart," a romantic historical fiction set in Civil War America and Victorian England.

Available at Amazon

Finished several books while traveling: A Game of Thrones (oh no, hooked on another fat book series!), Tinkers (interesting literary effort--won the Pulitzer Prize) and Noah's Wife from the HNS goodie bag.

I just finished a reread of the whole series, in anticipation of the 5th book coming out this month. Good luck on your new addiction :)
