Thanks for getting this going. I don't have much "net time"on the first and last business days of the month. I'm actually busy working ;)

Still working on Outback by Aaron Fletcher. Several of us are reading together at Goodreads. The sheep jokes are flying fast and loose...

I remember reading Aaron Fletcher's NZ series years ago- quite good, but not good enough to have left much detail behind in my memory. I found Daphne de Jong's Gather the Wind more compelling, along with Maurice Shadbolt's New Zealand Wars trilogy.

For some reason the library never had Fletcher's Australian series, though back in the day everyone here was reading Vivian Stuart's Australians series which covers similar ground

just finished the Genghis Khan trilogy by Conn Iggulden. Wow... just wow...

The new Cleopatra plus The Sleepwalkerswhich takes place in Berlin in 1932, have arrived. What to read first??? :)

The good news is that there's a fourth one out called Empire of Silver.

I see FF says its release date is December 2010, but maybe that's for the US as we already have it in the library here.

Currently reading Artemis by Julian Stockwin, 2nd in the Kydd series of Napoleonic War naval adventures.
