I've had horrid luck with shipping lately, so I hope this breaks my losing streak!
It's Mercury retrograde now, and it affects all forms of communication, technical issues, etc. I have just recovered from a computer crash myself. It ends on December 31st, I do believe!

Let's hope so! The second of the four items that have been drifting about in the postal system since mid-November trickled in today, so maybe there's hope for the other two!

Forgot to give the name of the book--To Serve a Queen by Josephine Bell (Elizabeth of Bohemia).

I had a request from PBS that was mailed on 10/4 and just landed this week. I know media mail is slower but still...

Purchased a few new cookbooks. :D
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

I got a Kindle for Christmas and hubby let me (it was from his parents and we usually wait until Christmas Eve to open their gifts) start downloading *free* books! What a loot:

Almost everything by Alexandre Dumas
Little Women
All Jane Austen

I have a list of others to download, but I had a very long book list for Santa this year, so I have to wait and see what I can buy after I open up my presents on Christmas!
