I'm starting Serena by Ron Rash. Set in the wilds of the mountains of NC during 1929. It appears to a "woman scorned" type of story!! Very creepy, violent, and the woman is supposedly a very formidable villianess. Looks good but I've been dissapointed a few times lately so I'm keeping my expectations down.....sort of like the VP debate tomorrow night... :p !!!!

I enjoyed the book if you dont mind authors taking Liberties with the Romanovs . It was easy to read and so much more entertaining than The Other Queen.

I not long ago finished the last of the Friarsgate Trilogy - found a copy in a bargain bin. Only trouble is I haven't read the other two, and now I'm debating whether to track them down.

Currently reading Paul Waters novel "Of Merchants & Heroes" set in the Mediterranean at the end of the third century BC. It's proving a good read so far--

I borrowed that book from the library a while ago but had to return it unread. I must remember to check it out again.

I generally have two books on the go at any one time, but I am in between books at the moment. Assuming I catch the train to work and not drive, then I will be starting Tribute by Nora Roberts.
