Booke of Days, by Stephen Rivele about the First Crusade. It's an older book, published ten years ago.

Oh no!!!! I haven't started and now I'm scared.

(is this a bad time to admit that my character changed eye colors in my hardcover of Nefertiti within the space of five pages? )

I'll be interested to know what you think re the Rivelle book, so I'll keep quiet. It's a while since I half-read it anyway, so I can't give you specifics.
LOL re the eye colour! It's amazing what we don't notice despite numerous checks....

Whenever I write something, I always give them blue eyes because I have blue eyes and there is no way I'll forget that!

Well.... the book I was reading... without getting nasty - NOT recommended. Historically inaccurate, silly plot device at the beginning... EC, I can see why you didn't finish. I spent my afternoon reading and I don't plan on devoting anymore time to it.

You really will need to like repitious sentences of how beautiful the main male character is, because at least half of the book says it over and over again. Otherwise she is a good story teller but the book could have been about half as long without all the repeated adoration.
