Let's see...I recently bought:
The Children of Henry VIII - Alison Weir
Eleanor of Aquitaine - Alison Weir
The Independece of Miss Mary Bennet - Colleen McCollough
Antony and Cleopatra - Colleen McCullough (hope I like this moreso than The Independence of Miss Mary Bennet!)
I also just finished my collection of Kathleen Woodiwiss' novels - now have all of hers...and today I will purchase The Reckoning and Time and Chance - to finish those series in my library. Can't wait!

Well, disappointed! I went to the book store, all ready to purchase The Reckoning and Time and Chance, but The Reckoning was not available. I believe it's going to be re-released in April. Then I thought I would buy The Greatest Knight and The Scarlet Lion because I've heard to so much about them on this site. No such luck.
I was most tempted to purchase a book that contained all of Jane Austen's novels...but i was good and held back.
Guess I'll just wait for my delivery of The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings to come in the mail!

MissM, EC's books are very very hard to find in the US even used and oftentimes quite expensive. Try The Book Depository in the UK they have free shipping. Or if you have someone who goes to and from Canada they might find them at Chapters (or another bookstore) for you.

Hi Miss Marplestein. The good news is that Source books will be bringing out The Greatest Knight this Fall in the USA. With any luck others will follow. There are things afoot!
I've got all of SKP's books in original hardcovers from first time around. It's great that they're going to be re-issuing them and keeping them in print.

That is great news...I'll look forward to reading them in the fall. I have most of SKP's books - not the mysteries, but the Welsh triology and the Henry II triology, and Sunne in Splendor. I've read them all, but need to find The Reckoning. Thanks for the update!
yeah I agree, you can't find Chadwick in the US unless it's online, I bought all mine from amazon and book depository.
MissM, try your library as well - and don't forget an interlibrary loan request. I know there are libraries out there with EC's books including mine. Worth a shot...

Even though I already have a few books here from BF and ones I already bought and one I'm waiting for in the mail, after finishing "The Complete Pompeii", I went and ordered a used copy of "Pompeii: The Living City" by Alex Butterworth, Ray Laurence. It'll be awhile before I get to it, but I just like having the books here so I don't run out.
