New Story set in the Jacobite Rising

Post by AntsHolland » Sun September 6th, 2015, 3:44 pm

So I had an idea to write a story set in either the Jacobite Rising of 1715 or 1745 or perhaps even one spanning both. It will require a lot of research and will take ages to write :D. I had the idea of perhaps even writing a piece of fiction about what would have happened if the Jacobites won Culloden and stopped trying to retake the rest of England and had simply held Scotland and stoked the flames of rebellion and religious unrest in Ireland whilst awaiting French reinforcements from Europe. Let me know what you think and if you have any ideas/ information of your own :)!
