Well, dear friends, I'm off!

In a few hours, a big burly taxi driver will be here to load my luggage, and off I go for my holiday -- 13 days cruising the Alaskan banana belt, and then an inland tour by railroad from Anchorage to Fairbanks. I will do my best to stay in touch, but given the intricacies of wifi, I'm not sure how well that will go. I do hope to have some new experiences and photos to share when I get back. Many hugs to you all, and how I wish I could take you with me.
