I read Flower Net and liked it but didn't like it enough to have to read more of the series. I will eventually, but I do prefer her historical fiction

Diamondlil, how interesting -- I was thinking as I re-read these that I preferred them to the HF. I liked Snow Flower & the Secret Fan, DNF the next book, and thought Shanghai Girls was bumpy & a bit predictable in many places.
