Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.

Camel love

Post by MLE (Emily Cotton) » Mon June 18th, 2012, 4:23 am

Well, this isn't my pet, but the shots were so cute, I had to post them. I was at the zoo conversing with this young camel, and my DIL (she of the perpetual camera) started taking pictures.
They inspired a humorous version of our conversation for my blog, translated for those who don't read camel.

Aw, how could anyone resist those gorgeous, long-lashed eyes!
Browse over 5000 historical novel listings (probably well over 5000 by now, but I haven't re-counted lately) and over 700 reviews at www.HistoricalNovels.info
