Here's a photo of our cat, Harry, with our Springer, Alfred, often to be found in this situation:

They are lovely, and how lucky they get along so well :)
At home with a good book and the cat...
...is the only place I want to be

Although is it my imagination, or does Alfred look just a little bit miffed?!

Actually, I think they're looking at Sid, our other Springer. It's his basket they're snoozing in and he definitely gets miffed if he finds anyone else sitting in it!! LOL. He's 10 now and is getting a little like a grumpy old man!

Oh yes, now you mention it, it looks like they're thinking - what are you going to do about it then?

Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.

Very sweet pets! looks like they make a chummy pack -- or is it a pride?

Too sweet! Padfoot loves cats as well which I can't figure since he's had very little contact with them. He saw on the street the other way and just ran up to it and sniffed. Then thought he could entice the cat to play. The cat had other plans..
