Somebody else posted on another site that Phillip Winchester would make a good Jamie, if he had red hair. I don't think so myself. Does this chap do it for any of you?[/quote]
Yes, I can see what the person meant, but does he do anything for me? Nope!
Keep lookin'

I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't think that looks like Jaime at all! I really hope that's not the guy who ends up cast in the movie. I always thought of Jaime with REALLY red hair, broader face, freckles, a big muscular hulk of a man....but still lithe and graceful, and able to move well. That guy just looks too metrosexual to me!

They are considering casting Gerard Butler as Jamie.
Although I don't think he looks anything like Jamie, I saw a clip of him on YouTube and I think he could pull it off. I like who they are considering for Claire as well. Check it out!

Regarding the casting for Jamie quoted below:
" Hollywood has been courting Gabaldon for many years now in an effort to bring her Outlander book series onto the big screens. However, Gabaldon has been holding out reportedly due to her wanting to handpick her hero, Jamie Fraser. Gabaldon has apparently already voiced her two (2) choices as actors: Scottish-born GERARD BUTLER and Welsh-born IOAN GRUFFUDD."
If anybody wants to read more and or support the petition to cast Gerard Butler as Jamie Fraser, I've posted the link!
