I think Gallic Books only publishes/translates titles that are already out and selling well in France, but it goes to show there's one publisher who thinks French settings can succeed in the UK market!

I just found a guest post on Vulpes Libris by their managing director that's quite enlightening about the market back/forth between the two countries.

Thanks, Ariadne, this is a really interested post. What a pity Gallic doesn't do French-themed HF published in the US...
