cover endorsements

My publisher wants me to look into getting cover endorsements for Cleopatra Unconquered, my upcoming novel. Do any of the published authors on here have any tips?

I am not being snarky, but first, does your publisher have any credible authors in his stable to endorse your novel? After that, the standard advice is to find other authors, people of note, or advance reviews to be quoted.

I leave more advice to others on this site.

I second Don's response.

Approach authors via their agents to cut down on hurt feelings or feeling imposed upon.

Or ask them if you are friends/friendly.
