Just had this come through on another list. Philippa Gregory was with Harper Collins before she jumped ship for Simon & Schuster.

the news from publishers lunch have
been grim since last year. i wonder when / if
it'll ever turn around? =(

Yeah but they still made a profit of £23 million in 2008.
