Yes, I agree.
I'm glad you went with the off white. I think its a nice touch. You should be proud. It totally rocks!

Thanks, Anna, CW, Divia! During the last weeks of the old blog, I could no longer stand the glaring white of the background. This is softer on the eye, looks antiquy too.
And the WordPress is so functional... So happy to have bid GoDaddy adieu (well, they still host the site, but their blogging software is out of my hair.)

Thanks, C.W., Princess and Michelle!
Part of my inspiration was this one: http://www.alexanderpalace.org/palace/
Beautiful, don't you think? Of course, mine is an author's blog and I wanted the focus to be broader. Speaking of which, I have several author interviews coming up with French themes: Susan Scott for The French Mistress, Stephanie Cowell for Claude and Camille, and Jo Manning for My Lady Scandalous, her bio of Grace Elliott. I will post announcements on those.
And Michelle, I want YOU whenever Madame Tussaud is out!
And my book trailer as just finished, but that belongs in another thread.
