Got a shipping confirmation today. I was scared when I saw the order update from Amazon, I thought I was gonna get a "oh we couldn't find it on our shelves" note. That seems to happen a lot with OOP's that I find on the cheap that everyone else is selling much higher.

Not sure how quick I'll get to it. I have a lot of holds at the library for new books due in Jan/Feb. My luck is they'll all land at once.

Did Tely catch this thread? I know Russia is her bag as well.

Now you guys are making me want to read about her. Thankfully, my library has a few things. And I found one to own too.

Look at what I just found. I'm reading Motley's The Quickenberry Tree and enjoying it a lot so I wandered over to see what else she's written and found this about Catherine the Great. No reviews either at Ammy or Goodreads. Anyone familiar with it?[/quote]

Uh
It was me who scanned the cover and copied the text from the book's flap for goodreads. It's on my TBR.
When I bought it I openned randomdy and read a sex scene. It somehow gave me an odd impression of the book, so I'll read it someday... but not on top of the list right now.

Interesting. I'm almost done with her Quickenberry Tree and while there is some sex in it it definitely doesn't go OTT either, and it's few and far between. Even the big wedding night was pretty tame.

Buddy read anyone?

Me. Me. I'll buddy read it. :)

I was told my book was shipped, so we'll see when it arrives.

I dont mind sex in my books. Plus she was a sexual woman so it only seems natural.
