I hunted arond we dont seem to have an online form, which would make life easier. However as a librarian I get annoyed when someone does it at our school and then books start appearing and I have no idea who ordered them etc.
I just sent an email to the reference librarian to ask her about this issue. I'll let you know what I find.
As I stated before our HF collection in our county sucks.

Bummer - you need to move to King County . Although if they do ILL you should have a lot easier time getting hands on stuff - although the newer books would go to the local patrons first requesting I would assume.

You guys must have a different system. Here in NZ you pay a standard $5.00 interloan fee for every item ordered, and if it's only available from a specialist non-recriprocating library (like a university library or similar) you'd be looking at an extra $10.00, making a total of $15.00 for that item. Budgets must be more generous in the US!

Fantastic trilogy
I have all three of these books at home - highly recommended. The first is the best by far. The heroes/heroines I thought got a little flatter in the second and third book, but her descriptions of Russia are so vivid and evocative that they are really worth reading.
Argh, I just checked my hold status and believe it or not someone else has it checked out. I have to wait until at least May 25

I'm about 2/3 of the way through Anna and enjoying it a lot. That said, if you need your heroine constantly in the thick of battle and dodging bullets it might not be for you. As a governess Anna's story is more centered around the family, at least the first half is. The scenes are excellent, as well as the period details, food, clothing, etc. and I feel like I'm there. There was a search for a lost child in the Caucasus mountains that was quite gripping. Now we're in Moscow a year before Napoleon's invasion.

My HB is 670 something. It's a rainy day in Seattle and not much else to do.

we have rain too, but I can't read a book that long. It took me an entire summer to get through Mists. OH well, this one has got to be shelved.

Last night I broke down and ordered copies of all three of the books. As I tend to be a nut for anything Russian, it should be a good experience as I wait for reprints in the Morland Dynasty. Lovely thing about having Mt. TBR -- you never run out of things to read.
