Yeah, as the series went on, Elizabeth and Nathaniel took a back seat and, although I still enjoyed the books, I missed having them be the center of the story.

My favorite is the first book in the series. The second and third were okay and the third and fourth are much better! Looking forward to to the final book! :)

INTO THE WILDERNESS has been re-released in paperback (with a lovely headless woman cover!!). It's a great time for folks to discover this wonderful series!!

I hope that this rerelease is successful for Sara/Rosina. I really love reading her books.

I'm not actually keen on that cover. I preferred the earlier landscape ones.
I really enjoyed the first two Sara Donati books but still have the 3rd one on my TBR. I guess I'm a Nathaniel woman and wanted more of him!

I read the first book when it came out, and did not like it. I suppose i should give it another try. I think i was disappointed because I wanted to love it like the Outlander books and I just didn't.
