Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.

Hi mods -- is it possible to create a poll where people can vote as often as they wish, for as many options as apply? I'd love to keep a running tab on the reasons people buy what they buy, and read what they read--it would be a very useful tool.

You'll have to try creating a poll and see what options it gives you. I believe it allows you to keep a poll open and to let people vote multiple times.
