I finally figured this out! Sometimes, I would catch a mistake and edit it, and it wouldn't put up that 'edited at' tag on the bottom, and sometimes it would, even if it was just two seconds. Well, it seems that it puts the edited at tag up if somebody has viewed the post since you put it there!
Everybody else may know this, but I'm a little slow...
