same name - an appeal to the moderator

Post by Cuchulainn » Tue November 3rd, 2009, 6:10 am

There is now another use here with the same user name as me (minus one "n").

My user name is Cuchulainn. And now there is an active "Cuchulain."

I am not among the most active users on the site, however, I don't want to be identified with anyone else or their postings.

I do note that my "namesake" has made the same post in at least three threads, and which posts appear to be promoting a novel published in 1966. Accordingly, I believe that my "namesake" has made their postings further to some agenda (which I don't care about) and I think it is unfair and wrong that that person be permitted to continue with a user name that wil be confused with mine.

I ask, therefore, that the moderator of this site intervene and require Cuchulain (with one "n") to change their name.

Thanks

You know I saw that name and I thought to myself "I thought they (you) were already a member". Now I understand.
