Vinland
I am looking for some fiction set in the Vinland settlement(s). I realize this is close to the break on this subject thread (until about 1000 A.D.) Any books or authors you recommend would be a big help.
Re: Vinland
Have you read any Cecelia Holland? She wrote a series about Viking, Corban Loosestrife:
Life and Times of Corban Loosestrife
1. The Soul Thief (2002)
2. The Witches' Kitchen (2004)
3. The Serpent Dreamer (2005)
4. Varanger (2008)
5. The High City (2009)
6. Kings of the North (2010)
Books 2 & 3 are partially set in Vinland. I don't remember them being as good as the first or those that came after, but your mileage may vary.
