By default no-one is logged in when arriving at the new forum, so the big yellow notice at the top wasn't visible. I just got Fred to change that!

It looks lovely! Congratulations on the transition, which I'm sure was much more complicated and hair-tearing than any of us "on the outside" could ever imagine.

- Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
- Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
- Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.

i always used to click the 'new posts' line when I open the forum. Where is the equivalent on this board?

On my phone so maybe Fred can be more specific if it's different on a desktop, but there's a menu in the top left hand corner, under the HFO banner, indicated by three horizontal lines.
