A green padlock on the forum!

Postby FredQ » Mon December 12th, 2016, 12:21 pm

Have you noticed the little green padlock that suddently appeared right next to the address of the forum?

Well we just switched the forum to https. And that's great news!

You probably heard that when you browse via http, your passwords can be easily intercepted, and that's absolutely true.
You would say there's not much to steal from me on the forum, and that's fair enough. But it's likely that some people will be using the same password for other, more important accounts.

So now you can browse from any wifi hotspot, at the train station or your favorite coffee place: with the green padlock on, you're safe.
