The Code Book

It's kind of a history book, but from the point of view of codes and code-breaking.

It will give you a different view on how Mary Queen of Scots was found guilty of conspiracy, how the British had a serious advantage over the Germain during WWI, and how the American designed the perfect encryption for their transmissions during WWII. Or you might even go on a treasure hunt? The Beale Treasure is still undiscovered since 1820.

It's a very easy read, and you don't need to be a mathematician to enjoy it. It's well explained for everybody to understand the various codes and code-breaking methods explained in the book.

This sounds really interesting. I hadn't heard of it, so thanks very much for mentioning it here!
