A Biography of Cancer

Post by wendy » Tue April 29th, 2014, 2:19 pm

I am thoroughly enjoying THE EMPEROR OF ALL MALADIES (Siddhartha Mukherjee), a historical biography about cancer and the various treatments tried throughout the ages. The disease is personified as an ancient enemy, and is so well written it reads almost like a historical fiction. I highly recommend this worthy Pulitzer Prize winner.
