Two new NF crackers

Post by Gordopolis » Tue August 23rd, 2011, 5:37 pm

Hi All,

I had to shout about these two upcoming crackers:

Handbook to Roman Legionary Fortresses:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Handbook-Roman- ... 1848841388

Manzikert 1071:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Manzikert-1071- ... 106&sr=1-1

I'm in the mid stages of writing a novel that pivots around the lead-up to Manzikert and this looks like a perfect research gem to me. Anyone know when it comes out?

Cheers,
Gordon

Interest in HF: I can't answer this in 100 characters. Sorry.
Favourite HF book: Checkmate, the final novel in the Lymond series
Preferred HF: Literary novels. Late medieval and Renaissance.
Location: Catskill, New York, USA

Look in the "details" section on the Amazon listing. It almost always gives the expected publication date.
Browse over 5000 historical novel listings (probably well over 5000 by now, but I haven't re-counted lately) and over 700 reviews at www.HistoricalNovels.info

Ah! right, I see:
"Publisher: Pen & Sword Military (15 Sep 2011) "

..a wee bit subtle that as I'd looked over the details before and the date didn't stand out.
Still, I've added a reminder in my calendar for the 15th :)

Cheers,
G
