I just heard a story about this on the news recently. Although there have been other "autobiographies" (or maybe that's biographies?) of Twain, this is apparently the one that is in accordance with his express wishes. And this is only the first of several planned volumes -- I believe there are going to be three more.

EDITED: It appears that parts of the autobiography have been published here and there before

Yes, that's what they said in the news story I heard. But this new autobiography is the one that is really the way Twain wanted it. I might just have to give it a try. He certainly was an interesting person. It would really have to captivate me to make we want to read three more volumes, though!
