Say what...?
Okay guys I need help here because my work computer has Borders blocked as a "shopping" site. *rolls eyes* I just got a notification of a new book by James Patterson: The Murder of King Tut: The Plot to Kill the Child King. It's billed as a non-fiction thriller. Is that the James Patterson or is that some other clever fellow who stole his name? I will certainly read it, but I'm just astonished because this is such a departure from his usual work.
Well that doesn't tell me a lot SM!
Well I decided not to bother with it after reading what she said, I guess you can just check out the reviews at Amazon and decide for yourself. If you get it and decide it's good maybe I'll change my mind.

This is the kind of hubris that folks fall into when they don't approach history with enough humility. Everything we think we know about ancient history is subject to change the next time someone finds a scroll, or a stone inscription, or a new artifact.
