Google is exceptional at creating unique images for various holidays and occasions, but have any of you seen the images that are on Bing's search page? There's a different one every day and today's is a stunning photograph of Rievaulx Abbey in Yorkshire. There are always at least four areas on the photo you can click on which will give you information about what is photographed. One of those links for the abbey is an aerial view of the ruins.

Following your hint, I went to Bing and found a lovely picture of a couple of llamas on the start page. Perhaps the pic varies according to what part of the world you're in? Thanks for the hint though, I'll try to remember to look more often. Yahoo also sometimes have a little cartoon, in the top left hand corner of their start page.
Edited to say I just tried both their US and UK homepages, and got the llamas both times.
