Interest in HF: I write historical fiction, and used to post at this board a good few years ago.
Favourite HF book: Rosemary Sutcliff "Rider of the White Horse"
Preferred HF: 19th century, generally, but venturing back into the 18th for one of the current works in progress.

I'm actually not entirely new - I had a login here, but lost all the login stuff in a computer change, and ... you know, real life and all that. I live in San Antonio, and have always loved reading historical fiction.

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
