Hi there

I am Faith Vogel from sunny California - Huntington Beach in fact. I come to historical fiction after a lifetime of reading. I was a Librarian for many years, and once I retired I went on to get my Master's in History. Now I want to use it.

I am writing about Scotland in the early seventeenth-century. My protagonist is George Heriot who served as Royal Jeweler to King James and Queen Anna of Scotland.

I have been working on this at school for two semesters, and now that summer is here, I don't want to stop.

So, thank you all in advance for your company.
