Hello and welcome!
I recently read Life After Life by Kate Atkinson. It's not strictly a WWII novel as such but a lot of the novel is set during the war and the sections in London during the Blitz and in Berlin towards the end of the war are very good.

My WWII novel about U.S. and Luftwaffe fighter aces, Close to the Sun, has much information about both sides' home fronts. As some of you may know, WWII was a current event for me from age 7 in 1939 to age 13 in 1945.

I will be delighted to answer any questions about those years here or at the HNS Conference in Denver.
