Hi from a historian!

This board looks great--so glad to be part of it. I teach history and French studies at a university in Nashville, TN. I love things set in early Europe. I have Jacqueline Delors Mistress of the Revolution as well as Stephanie Cowell's Marrying Mozart on my nightstand right now.

For anyone who is writing about the early-modern period and needs detailing (especially in medicine), you might want to take a look at my blog. Hope it's helpful or at least a little interesting. Leave me a note if there is something specific you want to know or are curious about.

Again, glad to be here! All the best, Holly

Fun blog. The pig-faced lady is mentioned in one of the Sharpe books, BTW.
