Hi! My name is Samantha. I recently graduated from college with a degree in English (writing emphasis) and I'm working on my first novel, an historical fantasy. I love historical fiction, especially novels that are set in the ancient world. :D

Hi Samantha, and welcome to the best place on the web to talk about HF! Good luck with your first novel - historical fantasy, eh? Have you read our very own Sarah Woodbury's medieval hist, fantasy books? Or Harry Turtledove's Videssos cycle (Roman) books? or SJA Turney's (Roman) Interregnum?

You'll find plenty of ancient world authors here too if you look ( :D :o ): Michelle Moran, Russ Whitfield, fljustice and many others.
