I don't need encouragement to buy books at the best of times, but now my list has quite a few more on it that I just have to have...and the sooner the better :p .

Seriously, is there anything better than talking books with friends?!!

Hello and welcome, Jenny. So glad you found this forum and hope you have a great time here. Be prepared to spend too much, but think about the brilliant keeper library you'll build up.

Thanks for the welcome Leyland!

My partner would probably say I already spend too much, but hey, a brilliant library sounds great :) .

Hi Jenny! I like Tudor, but I spread out around the globe from there -- anything renaissance!

Pleased to make your acquaintance, Jenny. I see you're reading The Scarlet Pimpernel. I loved that one.

Welcome Jenny! I like the Tudors too especially books about Anne Boleyn or Catherine Howard. I don't believe I've ever read The Scarlet Pimpernel, only seen the films. I believe I do have it upstairs though, inherited from an aunt, so it should go on the TBR pile!
