Hello everyone! I recognize several of you as people who've visited my reading blog in the past. My name is Felicia, I'm 38, and I've loved historical fiction ever since I read Margaret George's The Autobiography of Henry VIII several years ago. I started by reading Tudor-era fiction & branched out from there.
At the moment I am reading a lot of Regency romances. I was never a romance reader until I discovered Georgette Heyer! I also like historical mysteries but have a terribly bad habit of not finishing series. For example, many years ago I read the first six of Ellis Peters' Cadfael mysteries and really enjoyed them but got sidetracked and never read the rest. I'm hoping to start next year with re-reading some of my favorites and to continue in the series this time.
At the moment, I'm also working my way through Jean Plaidy's 11-book Georgian Saga and am determined to finish it, hopefully this year. I'll be reading Perdita's Prince next.
Besides reading, I enjoy a wide variety of music, especially the Beatles, Dave Matthews Band, R.E.M., Barenaked Ladies and blues. I love going to concerts and enjoy watching movies and cooking. I have been married 11 years to my husband, James, and I have a 17-year-old stepson and a cat named Bella (that's her in my avatar.)
I look forward to joining discussions here!
