Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.

Welcome Lizzy, like your blog. I was wondering what that Flint book was so thanks for the review, sounds like an original take. It looks like we will be spending some time in the States next year and I am desperate to see Oregon, as I've always been drawn there for some reason. I see there are a couple of others on this forum also in Oregon, so will have to get some recommendations for places to go before I get out there. Enjoy!
