Hello!

Post by sisterofthemoon » Fri July 31st, 2009, 5:17 pm

Hi everyone,

Just thought I would say hello and introduce myself; I am Sophia, 21. I love reading historical fiction and non- fiction (obviously lol), and my favourite writers are Philippa Gregory, Jean Plaidy, Alison Weir, Norah Lofts and David Starkey. I suppose my love of this genre started when I was thirteen when I first read Anya Seaton's 'Katherine'. I am currently reading 'Innocent Traitor', which I am enjoying. Next on my list to read is 'Forever Amber', which has been very highly reccomend by a friend. I am an aspiring writer and am currently writing a novel about Catherine of Arragon, who is my favourite of Henry VIII wives. I also love historical/costume dramas and films. Anyway, enough of my ramblings and I would love to hear reccomendations from other members and I look forward to talking to you about my fave genre of books! :)
