Hello everybody. A big thank-you to the moderators for getting this new forum up and running!
I'm Carla. I had the same name on the old forum. I live and work in England. I've been interested in history and archaeology for as long as I can remember, and I'm a keen reader and reviewer of (mainly) history and historical fiction.
I also write historical fiction, and my latest novel (available from my website) is set in seventh-century 'Anglo-Saxon' Northumbria.
Welcome to the Historical Fiction Online forums: a friendly place to discuss, review and discover historical fiction.

- Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
- Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
- Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
