My favorite HF reads include the Sharon Penman books, Jules Watson, Elizabeth Chadwick , Manda Scott and Edith Pargeter. I am also a fan of the german writer Rebecca Gable, but I do not think her work has been translated into English, or Dutch for that matter.
My favorite period would have to be the MA, but I have been foraging into ancient history as well.
